The Wave 100 Collection – Surf Ranch – #1

One of 100 numerical simulations (CFD) images uniquely generated during the process of designing and building artificial waves for surfing. These images, resulting of fluid mechanics high performance computations, are a mean for me to leave a permanent print of my work. As well as to show the part behind the scenes of The Surf Ranch that has never been shown before: how the wave has been predicted and designed. These are my own creation, from CAD file to post-processing, and cover over 10 years of work, from the introduction to CFD at the Kelly Slater Wave Company, to the Surf Ranch final design.
