Yarn Dynamics by Ikiddo

In the past few weeks, I have been studying the spinning systems used in factories and discovered that it’s an incredibly vast world! In fact, all the rollers and the angles between the components are entirely engineered. This made me think that it might be possible to create a project inspired by this concept to showcase the dynamics of spinning components. This project is inspired by traditional and modern spinning or weaving machines. The interconnected circles represent pulleys or spools, while the curved lines symbolize threads or belts in motion. It creates a dynamic, algorithmic visualization of a weaving system, blending mechanics with generative art. *This project is animated&interactive. You must first click on the screen to activate the interactivity mode, and then use the keys W or S to move the rollers to the right or left. **This project uses an algorithm in which a closed loop is formed. The thread starts from the first roller and, after traversing through the other rollers, returns to the first roller. In fact, the fundamental principle of spinning dynamics is this. I hope you enjoy the project and its interactivity.
